The cast and crew of FOX's Sleepy Hollow are spilling details on what to expect in the show's second season, which returns on FOX Wilmington September 22.
The show held a special screening and sneak peek of the season two premiere in Hollywood Monday night.
The first season ended with several cliffhangers, including the revelation that Henry Parrish (played by John Nobel) is actually a bad guy.
"We start to see how John Nobel's character, who is now at war, how he intends to disrupt the balance in Sleepy Hollow. It is not war as you would expect with weaponry and fighting people it is turning people against each other. So, we start to see how he does that in very clever ways, very evil ways."
The cast said expect more excitement in the second season.
"The town fills out," Nicole Beharie, who plays Lt. Abbie Mills said. "It becomes more complicated. We have new additions we have a new sheriff. We have, I don't know if I can say exactly what he does, we have a new guy on board some of the other characters that we saw coming in and out are fleshed out and really gorgeous in complicated ways or Irving and Jenny."
The crew is in the midst of filming its second season in Wilmington. The cast and crew filmed scenes on Forest Hills Drive Tuesday.
Producers said the second season is going well so far.
"It is huge," said Len Wiseman, the show's executive producer. "We haven't tamed things. It has been pretty massive and its starting back up again what it is so much fun."
"We have started off with a bang," said Roberto Orci, executive producer. "And we continue that pace throughout the season we are deep into shooting the second episode and things are going really well."
The show has also filmed scenes for its second season at the Cotton Exchange, the New Hanover County Courthouse and on Front Street.
