SUNDAY AND MONDAY: Enjoy clear skies, light to moderate east or northeast breezes, unusually low humidity levels, daytime highs mainly in the upper 70s and lower 80s, and nighttime lows mainly in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
SUNDAY BEACH OUTLOOK: Expect surf zones to feature 2 to 4-foot waves (highest north of Cape Fear) and a low to moderate rip current risk (highest north of Cape Fear). Water temperatures: mainly mid 70s. UV Index: extreme.
EXTENDED FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS: Daytime temperatures will likely grow deeper into the 80s for the middle and latter parts of the week. Humidity will nudge higher too. Shower and storm chances: near 0% Tuesday, near 20% Wednesday and Thursday.
TROPICAL WEATHER: Atlantic Hurricane Season is here! New tropical storm formation is not expected Sunday. A broad area of disturbed weather in the southern Gulf of Mexico will be monitored for possible long-range development.
