The Fayetteville VA Medical Center evacuated the outlying buildings after receiving a bomb threat Thursday morning around 8 a.m.
According to public affairs with the medical center, the entire campus, including specialty and community-based clinics, were"on diversion."
Media outlets in Fayetteville reported the main hospital building were patients are being treated has not been evacuated.
Police and fire officials investigated and did not found a device at this time.
The all clear sign was given just after 11 a.m. and normal operations resumed. The FBI has assumed jurisdiction of the bomb threat investigation.
