WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WECT) -

The creators of a viral video that was filmed in Wrightsville Beach have plans for a sequel to their Happy video.

If you search the internet you will find a variety of music videos created for the song, including a rendition by Ned Leary and Will Page that features Wrightsville Beach. The guys from Ned Leary Photography were granted a film permit to shot the second video.

According to the permit the video will be produced for Facebook use, and plans to show more people dancing to the song Happy.

The song was originally created for the animated comedy Despicable Me, and now Pharrell Williams' hit single Happy has taken the nation by storm.

This version of Happy is bound to put a smile on your face as it highlights good times at the beach, on the docks, in restaurants and at the Wrightsville Beach Loop. It even shows cute puppies and the island from a birds-eye view.
