SUPPLY, NC (WECT) -

A store clerk was treated for minor smoke inhalation after a fire burned through a thrift store in Supply.

The Rose of Sharon Thrift Store located at 2060 Holden Beach Road caught fire on Friday. The building was "mostly engulfed" according to Captain of the Coastline Volunteer Rescue Squad David Robinson. The store clerk was treated on scene, but not taken to the hospital.

Crews from the Civietown, Tri Beach, Supply, Coastline Volunteer Rescue Squad, Brunswick County Emergency Services, and the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office responded to the fire.

There is no word on a cause yet.
