Wilmington city pools to open Memorial Day weekend

The City of Wilmington's three city pools will be open this Memorial Day weekend. The City of Wilmington's three city pools will be open this Memorial Day weekend.
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

The City of Wilmington's three city pools will be open this Memorial Day weekend.

The pools will be open on May 24 and May 26 as well as May 31, June 7, and Jun 14 from noon until 5 p.m. The pools will officially open for the season on June 16.

The Northside Splash Pad will open for the season on May 24 and will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

All facilities are handicap accessible and are equipped with bathhouses and restrooms. All pools will have lifeguards on duty.

Admission to the pools is $1 for children and $2 for adults. Admission to the Splah Pad is free. City pools are not open on Sundays.
