(RNN) - More than 21,000 people have evacuated their homes after wildfires spread across southern California.

The fires have charred almost 10,000 acres and burned down at least 20 structures.

The Federal Communications Commission voted to move forward with a proposal that would allow broadband providers to charge companies like Amazon and Netflix for prioritized access to consumers. The proposal is open for public comment for the next four months.

Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been indicted on first-degree murder charges in connection with a 2012 double slaying in Boston. Authorities said he gunned down two men in an SUV near a nightclub.
