SURF CITY, NC (WECT) -

Surf City Police have charged a second person in connection to an assault at the Sandbar Saloon. The assault occurred on May 11th and both suspects were captured on surveillance video.

Tuesday, Daniel M. Oczkowski Jr. of Camp Lejeune, was charged with Accessory After the Fact. The 21-year-old was placed in the Onslow County Jail on a $10,000 bond. Officers were waiting for him to come back from deployment to arrest him.

Surf City Police, with the assistance of NCIS and Army CID, also arrested 20-year-old Joseph Bruce Henry and charged him with Assault Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury and Assault on a female. Henry is a Private First Class at Ft. Bragg in Fayetteville.

The victim was identified as 25-year-old Elliot Stamschror, a NCO on camp. The assault left Stamschror with a broken jaw, missing teeth and in "bad" shape when he was taken to the hospital.

Police say Henry also reportedly assaulted Brittany Marlow, who was with Stamschror that attempted to stop Henry from leaving the bar.
