Big Dawg is offering people a chance to bid to be a character in the company's next show.

Local theater company Big Dawg Productions hopes people are just dying to be on stage.
The group is offering folks the chance to play the part of Bud in the upcoming production of Dearly Departed. The character sits on stage during the opening scene, listens to his wife read a letter, and then drops dead. There are no lines and Bud is only stage for a couple minutes.
The highest bidders will get the part.
You can submit your bid via email at email@example.com using the subject line Dearly Departed. The minimum bid is $100 and only one bid per person is allowed.
Winning bidders will receive a curtain speech credit and two reserved seats to the performance.
With your bid, please specify which date (and two back-up dates) you would be available to play the part.

Dearly Departed revolves around the Turpin family, who lives in the backwoods of the Deep South, as they try to pull themselves together for their father's funeral.
Big Dawg will donate a portion of the proceeds from this fundraiser to local dog rescue groups.
