Police: delivery men sold stolen furniture

JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) - Johnson City police say two men, accused of selling stolen furniture, have been arrested.

Michael Howe, 38, of Kingsport, and Robert Clark, 40, of Jonesborough, are charged with Theft of Property over $1,000.

According to a release, the Kingsport Police Department followed up on a tip they received stating a known location of stolen property.

Police say the investigation revealed that two delivery drivers had been selling furniture they stole from the Factory Direct Warehouse in Johnson City.

Both men are in jail on a $10,000 bond. They will be in court Monday morning.
