WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

Wilmington residents are invited to attend a drop-in meeting Saturday morning at the NE Library starting at 10 a.m. to review results of 12 neighborhood meetings held over the past several months.

Hundreds of citizens have voiced their opinions and their input will be used to develop a long-term growth plan for Wilmington.

According to the city, the plan will help control population growth and coming demographic changes that will impact the face of Wilmington.

Saturday's meeting will be held in the Paynter Assembly Room of the NE Library off of Military Cutoff Road.

Citizens who can't attend the meeting but want to provide input can share their thoughts/ideas on the city's citizen engagement website, connectwilmington.org
