WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Cape Fear Community College will increase the size of its course offerings by expanding their curriculum by an additional 100 classes.
According to college officials, the school is adding more classes this summer to respond to an increased demand from prospective students. Most of the courses are in the college transfer area and include English, math, history, science, art, political science, and sociology.
Officials say there has been an increased interest from current CFCC students, university students and high school students who would like to jump start their own college career.
Many of the new classes will be available online, which will help students who are working and have less flexibility in their daily schedules.
