Entire SEC plays on new network in season's first 4 weeks

All 14 teams in the SEC will have played a game on the conference's new television network within the first four weeks of the 2014 college football season.

The SEC announced Thursday the first 16 games broadcast on the new SEC Network and ESPN include a home game from all 14 SEC football stadiums. The SEC Network launches August 14. It will be operated by ESPN.

Eight SEC schools open the 2014 season with a game on the conference network.

South Carolina launches the network's game coverage on Thursday, August 28 hosting Texas A&M at Williams-Brice Stadium. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. Temple takes on Vanderbilt at 9:15 to close out the opening double-header.

Defending SEC Champion Auburn hosts Arkansas Saturday, August 30th at 4 p.m. ET.

Each of the first two weeks features six games. Opening week includes a previously announced Thursday night doubleheader, three games on Saturday and a unique opportunity over Labor Day weekend for a Sunday evening game at Tennessee.

On Saturday, Sept. 6, the SEC Network will showcase six different matchups.   Each of the games will be available to all fans who receive SEC Network.  The games will be televised on either the SEC Network or an overflow channel made available on that Saturday.
