Two movies and two TV shows will be filming scenes in Wilmington Thursday.
Film crews are hitting the road for this movie that is bringing the popular Mattel hero Max Steel to life on the big screen.
Thursday, crews will film at the intersection of Front and Princess Streets from 7:00 am to 2:00 p.m.
The scenes will involve the main character riding through a small town and interacting with an annoying driver in the intersection.
The production plans to cover any signage that says "Wilmington" with removable stickers that would be put up and removed on the day of filming.
They also plan to add some plants to the intersection.
Max Steel will film more driving scenes from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The scenes will be shot while driving with the flow of traffic and involve a girl driving a truck and a boy on his bike.
These scenes will be shot at the intersection of South Second and Orange Streets traveling south to Castle St, turning west to South Front St., traveling north back to Orange then turning east on S. Second and repeating as necessary.
Wilmington Police will be leading and following the production vehicles.
This Michael Cera FX pilot will film scenes inside offices at a building on New Centre Drive.
This movie for BET will use prop gunfire in scenes that will be filmed throughout the day Thursday at 201 S. Front St. from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Crews filming the second season of this CBS show will be at two homes in Wilmington. In both cases, characters will be in the homes filming interior dialogue scenes, according to film permits.
The locations for filming include 1811 Chestnut St. and 2107 Creecy Ave.
