LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Major changes are coming to Louisville cable subscribers again.
Comcast purchased Time Warner for $45 billion in February, but to help clear regulatory hurdles, Comcast announced on Monday that it's selling a 33 percent stake to Charter Communications.
Charter will form a new holding company to provide services to a number of new markets, including Louisville.
In February, Charter lost its bid against Comcast to acquire Time Warner outright.
In 2013, Louisville cable subscribers were transitioned from Insight to Time Warner.
