WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Supporters of the film industry are planning a rally to send a message to leaders in Raleigh.

The North Carolina Production Alliance and Wilmington Regional Film Commission are holding the second annual NC Film Rally.

It will be at 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 4 at the River Walk in downtown Wilmington.

The state's film incentive program is set to expire at the end of the year, unless lawmakers decide to extend it.

The General Assembly is expected to talk about this when they go back to work on May 14.

Speakers at the rally will include local elected leaders and some special guests from the entertainment industry.

At last year's rally, Dean Norris (Breaking Bad and Under the Dome) attended, as well as some of his co-stars from the locally-filmed show Under the Dome.
