Stage Company is performing 'Forget About It' at UNCW.
'Forget About It' is about a man who wakes up and realizes he can't remember the last seven months of his life.
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A new show at UNCW is being put on entirely by students.
It's called Forget About It, and it's even written by local student Zeb Mims.
It's about a man named Daniel who wakes up and realizes he's forgotten the last seven months of his life. He and his friends try to put the pieces together, but Daniel ultimately has to decide if he really wants to remember.
"You're watching multiple people try and figure out if it's better this way or if he needs to find out," said director Nick Reed.
Stage Company is a student-run theater group at UNCW. Being a part of the group helps the students prepare for the future.
"What we're trying to do is basically become a legitimate theater company with a very odd set of rules where every few years new officers are chosen," said Reed. "What it prepares you for is getting ready to go out and sort of start another theater company or go into sort of a new family almost for theater and figure out where you belong and what you can do."
