Three Vikings sign to play at next level

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Three Hoggard Vikings student athletes signed letters of intent to play sports at the next level.

Senior Caroline Estep is headed to Raleigh to swim for N.C. State. Estep won the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle and also swam on a pair of winning relays, as she helped the Hoggard girls win their 14th straight conference title.

Noah Robinson will attend and play lacrosse at Asbury College in Kentucky. Robinson, who plays the midfield, has helped lead the Vikings to a 8-1 record.

And Trevor Singleton will spend the next two years at Cloud Community College in Kansas playing basketball. Singleton is the only player in Viking history to have scored 1000 points, grab 500 rebounds, and block 300 shots.
