Thief steals money, credit card during school book fair

FAYETTEVILLE, NC (WECT) - Deputies with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office are looking for a woman who stole items from a school.

They say the suspect walked into the library of Cliffdale Elementary School during a book fair on April 14. She moved into the nurse's office and stole $170 and a credit card from a purse.

Surveillance video shows the suspect entering a local Family Dollar Store and using the stolen credit card to make purchases.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned woman, five feet eight inches tall and about 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt and jeans. Her hair is dark and wavy and was pulled back into a bun at the time of the theft.
