The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said two people were arrested Friday after deputies found what was described as an “elaborate setup” for making methamphetamine at a home in Clayton.
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call at 115 Javelin Court in the afternoon. The sheriff’s office said deputies saw what was believed to be components of a meth lab inside the residence while responding to the call.
Johnston County deputies received a search warrant for the home and found meth lab components both upstairs and downstairs, the sheriff’s office said.
A lieutenant with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said the home housed an “elaborate setup.”
Andrew Gardner and his wife Ryanne were both arrested on charges related to manufacturing methamphetamine.
Both have court appearances scheduled for 9 a.m. April 21.
