BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Brunswick Community College hosted a unique fund raising event Wednesday that pitted the college's best culinary faculty vs. its staff.
As part of BCC Foundation's annual Campus Find Drive to fund student scholarships, departments drew secret ingredients at random and were forced to cook up an original recipe.
The dishes were then served to other faculty and staff members, students and the general public.
The Department of Student Services won the competition with their Hawaiian Meatball dish. The winning chef was Velma Williams and her team.
The proceeds of the ticket sales will benefit the Brunswick Community College Foundation.
