Red Flag Warning issued for northern Arizona forests

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Red Flag Warning has been issued by the Nation Weather Service for Kaibab and Coconino National Forests Sunday from noon until 8 p.m.

Authorities are advising that visitors to Kaibab and Coconino National Forests do not light campfires of any kind during this period of time.

Red Flag Warnings are issued when strong winds and low relative humidity are forecast. These conditions increase the danger of potential fires.
