Veterinary offices make it easier for pet owners to keep furry friends vaccinated

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The Brunswick County Sheriff's Animal Protective Services is making it a little easier for pet owners to make sure their furry friend is up-to-date on its vaccinations.

Several veterinary offices in Brunswick County are hosting rabies clinics Saturday, April 12. The cost of the vaccination is $6.

Law requires all dogs and cats four months of age or older to be vaccinated against rabies. There is a $100 citation if the owner fails to comply.
