Donate your fishing gear to help those in need

KURE BEACH, NC (WECT) - Donate your used rods, reels, andtackle boxes to help those in need.

According to officials at the North Carolina Aquarium atFort Fisher, rods are refurbished andgiven to local youth and adult groups such as Big Buddy and St. Mary/TilestonSocial Outreach.

You can drop offrods and reels at Visitor Services at the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher between 9a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.

Please make sure therod and reel is in somewhat workable order and has no missing parts.
