The countdown is on! The 2014 North Carolina Azalea Festival is just around the corner and over 330 artists and food vendors are set to line the streets. The countdown is on! The 2014 North Carolina Azalea Festival is just around the corner and over 330 artists and food vendors are set to line the streets.

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The countdown is on! The 2014 North Carolina Azalea Festival is just around the corner and over 330 artists and food vendors are set to line the streets.

The street fair will open Friday, April 11 from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. and continue the following Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 a.m. both days.

In addition to the extensive list of artists and food vendors, a variety of stages will be available to entertain visitors of all ages. Here is a breakdown of the performing acts, provided by Azalea Festival organizers:

COTTON EXCHANGE CHILDREN'S STAGE

Saturday:

  • 12:00 – 1:00pm – NC Science Fair live demonstrations with Cape Fear Museum
  • 1:00 – 1:30pm – Carolina Gymnastics
  • 1:30 – 2:00pm – Techniques in Motion
