NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – If you hear gunfire in downtown Wilmington Tuesday, it could be from a TV show filming in town.
According to city officials, Under the Dome plans to use prop guns during filming Tuesday.
The cast and crew will film scenes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Point Harbor Road, which is across the Cape Fear River from downtown Wilmington.
Wilmington officials believe gunfire will be heard in the downtown area and want neighbors to be aware of it.
The production is making the 911 center aware of its plans, in case callers report the sound of gunfire in the area.
The CBS show is filming its second season in and around Wilmington.
