HAMPSTEAD, NC (WECT) - A Pender County man is behind bars after being arrested for breaking into a Hampstead business Sunday afternoon.
According to the Pender County Sheriff's Department, Jared David Lacivita broke into the SERVPRO off US Hwy 17 in Hampstead and stole several items from the business.
Officials were able to recover most of the stolen property.
Lacivita is charged with breaking and entering, larceny, and possession of stolen goods. He was given a $35,000 secure bond.
