Officials bust two Creekwood residents on multiple heroin charges

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Authorities busted two Creekwood residents after completing a three-month-long heroin investigation.

Officers with the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office Vice and Narcotics unit along with agents from the ATF arrested Patrick Bragg and Maria Price on Wednesday.

Both are facing multiple charges:

Patrick Bragg

  • trafficking heroin-felony 1 count
  • maintain dwelling for a controlled substance-felony 1 count
  • PWISD heroin-felony 1 count
  • possession of a stolen firearm-felony 1 count
  • possession of a firearm by a convicted felon-felony 1 count
  • possession of marijuana-misdemeanor 1 count
  • possession of drug paraphernalia-misdemeanor 1 count

Maria Antionette Price

  • trafficking heroin-felony 1 count
  • maintain dwelling for a controlled substance-felony 1 count
  • PWISD heroin-felony 1 count
  • possession of a stolen firearm-felony 1 count
  • possession of a firearm by a convicted felon-felony 1 count
  • possession of marijuana-misdemeanor 1 count
  • possession of drug paraphernalia-misdemeanor 1 count
Officials seized over 1,300 bags of heroin along with drug paraphernalia, a stolen firearm, and an undisclosed amount of money.

Bragg was given a $500,000 secure bond and Price was given a $100,000 secure bond.  Both subjects are currently being held at the New Hanover County Detention Facility.

Authorities are currently issuing search warrants for a third person.
