WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority has postponed a planned water outage for residences and businesses near downtown Wilmington on Friday, March 21.

CFPUA had planned to replace three water valves in an area just north of downtown Wilmington but due to the potential impact on businesses, the project has been postponed until a later date.

The affected areas would have been the 600 through 1200 blocks of N. Fourth Street, all of Parsley and Davis Streets, the 1100 block of Cowan Street, the 400 block of Swann Street, and the 300 block of Harnett Street.
