VALLEJO, CA (RNN) - San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh has a reputation as a fierce competitor. It looks like he's taking on all comers, regardless of species.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom posted a video to YouTube on Sunday of the former NFL quarterback doing pushups while at the park. Directly across from him was Siku, a 1,750-pound Pacific walrus who dropped and gave him a few of her own - much to the delight of staffers on hand.

Siku showed her skills as Harbaugh coached her "up" and "down."

ABC News reported the coach, visiting with his family, also got to bottle-feed a tiger, meet an elephant and ride some roller coasters while he was there. Six Flags communication manager Nancy Chan told ABC Harbaugh even got a kiss from his new friend.

No word on if Siku will be playing any left tackle for the Niners next season.

A seasonably warm and humid summer air mass will govern the Cape Fear Region into the weekend. The approach of front and moisture and a glance from the remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy will boost rain chances at times. A dose of marginally cooler air with lower rain chances is possible by the middle of next week.
