BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Vice-Narcotics teams from the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office arrested four people Monday for manufacturing methamphetamine.
James Davis Downer III, Houston Lee Herring, Tiffany Nichole Strickland, and James Timothy Suggs Jr. were all arrested in connection to manufacturing meth. Officials received tips Sunday that Downer and other co-conspirators were cooking meth at a home located at 8987 Black Chestnut Drive in Leland.
Investigators on the case pulled over Downer in his car, shortly after leaving the residence according to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office.
A search of his vehicle turned up several grams of methamphetamine and other forms for precursor chemicals and items used to cook meth. Officials said a search of the home turned up more evidence and items used to manufacture meth.
Downer III, 30, Herring 25, and Strickland, 26, were all charged with two counts of possession/distribution precursor chemical, manufacture methamphetamine, possess methamphetamine, and possess drug paraphernalia.
Suggs Jr. was charged with manufacture methamphetamine and possess of drug paraphernalia.
Lisa Caison, 18, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
