Deputies: 2 sought after stolen NC car set ablaze

MARION, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies in western North Carolina said they are looking for two women they consider suspects in a car fire.

McDowell County deputies said a Kia Sportage was found burned and destroyed on Feb. 26 on Wild Ridge Acres in Montford Cove.

They said the SUV had been reported stolen from Hendersonville.

According to deputies, the two unidentified women were seen on surveillance video at a rest home in Hendersonville and they hope someone can identify them.
