WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – What do you like or dislike about your neighborhood? The City of Wilmington will hold its 9th neighborhood outreach meeting Thursday to gather input from residents in the Chestnut Heights-Princess Place areas.
The meeting will be held March 13, 2014 in the cafeteria of Snipes Academy at 6:30 p.m. City leaders will talk about the area's demographic and socioeconomic standings, including pending changes that will impact their neighborhoods.
Residents are encouraged to attend and speak up about what things they want to keep in their neighborhood and what they want changed.
The city is holding a total of 12 neighborhood planning meetings to gather citizen input for a long-term plan for growth.
