WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The Cameron Art Museum is hosting a Community Art Day this Saturday, March 15 in which the public can create artwork with sculptor and woodcut artist James Grashow.
The event is being held in the Weyerhaeuser Reception Hall at the Cameron Art Museum from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday. Grashow will instruct participants about the process as they enter.
Participants will be given materials, including cardboard, and asked to design something creative. The artwork made by participants will be a part of an original flower vase sculpture on view within Grashow's current Cameron Art Museum exhibition: Corrugated World: The Artwork of James Grashow.
All ages are encouraged to participate.
Admission to this event for both members and non-members is by donation.
