Nine years after a federal agent from Salisbury was killed in Atlanta during a courthouse shooting, a video honoring him was unveiled.
A memorial video was made to honor Special Agent David Wilhelm.
Brian Nichols escaped from a courtroom in Atlanta in 2005 and killed Wilhelm and three other before police captured him. Wilhelm had been assigned to the position just before the shooting.
The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial fund put together the tribute to present to Wilhelm's wife, Candee.
Candee Wilhelm was at the presentation on Tuesday and spoke a few words after watching the video.
While Wilhelm's death was briefly mentioned during Tuesday's ceremony, his wife says her focus is celebrating his life.
His family set up a foundation in David's name which is designed to help law enforcement officers and their families.
Wilhelm was from Salisbury and worked for several years in the Charlotte office of Immigration and Customs enforcement.
Nichols was convicted in the killings and was sentenced to life in prison.
