WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The City of Wilmington is trying to gather public input regarding a major stormwater improvement project in the Brookshire/Beasley Road area.
A preliminary design of the project is finished, but the city is turning to residents for additional input before the design is finalized.
According to a spokesperson for the city, this $4 million project will be one of the largest drain improvement projects Wilmington has ever done.
The second of two public input meetings will be held at 6:00 Tuesday night inside Parsley Elementary School.
Experts will be at the meeting with detailed maps to provide more information and answer any questions.
