WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Production crews will be in Wilmington Wednesday to start filming the pilot episode for an NBC Studios untitled project, that was previously titled Red Zone.

According to film permits, crews are expected to be set up in the 200 block of North Third Street, 6-9 p.m. to film night scenes.

There could be intermittent traffic delays in the area while crews film a car driving away.

Only one cast member is involved in the scene, but the permit said about 10 extras will also be included.

The production is looking for local football players to serve as extras for the series. There's currently a casting call for experienced football players, ages 18+, who have played college football and graduated.

Production crews are interested in high school football players as well, but individuals wishing to be recruited at the NCAA level should not apply.

These special roles will pay more than regular extras.

Those selected need to be in Wilmington in mid-March when filming for the pilot is expected to begin.

If interested email your height, weight, age, football experience, and picture to REDZONE@gamechangingfilms.com.
