BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Deputies with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office arrested a man from Charleston in connection to drug-related charges.
According to the sheriff's office, Kyle Whitney Anderson, 27, was stopped on Hwy 17 in Calabash as the result of an ongoing investigation over the past six months.
Authorities found 174 grams of MDMA, also known as Ecstasy or Molly, with a street value of over $27,000 inside the vehicle.
Officers with the North Charleston Police Department served a search warrant of Anderson's home, where they seized an additional kilo of MDMA.
