Firefighters are investigating what caused a fire in south Charlotte sending one person to the hospital.
The fire was reported at 8:31 p.m. at Tamarron Drive and Community House Road, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
Crews arrived to see heavy smoke and fire coming from the home.
23 firefighters had the fire under control in 18 minutes.
One civilian was taken to an area hospital, firefighters say.
