HOLDEN BEACH, NC (WECT) – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a house fire in southern Brunswick County Tuesday afternoon.

The fire broke out at a home located at 651 Ocean Blvd. West in Holden Beach, according to Brunswick County Fire Marshal Scott Garner.

Garner said fire crews were alerted by the fire by smoke detectors within the home.

When crews arrived at the home there were able to confine the fire to the inside of the home, and keep it from spreading.

No injuries have been reported.
