WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A dog with an incredible story of survival needs a place to call home.
Hope was partially paralyzed after being hit by a car in Whiteville.
A good samaritan spotted her and took her to Paws Place, a no-kill dog sanctuary.
She has undergone several surgeries. Most recently, Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral Animal Hospital outfitted Hope with wheels to help her get around better.
Hope is currently in a foster home in Wilmington. She is described as affectionate, active and extremely friendly.
If you are interested in adopting Hope, please contact Steve McCrossan, who is on the board of Paws Place, at 910-622-5311.
