Deputies in Lenoir have arrested a woman they say was selling prescription drugs in Caldwell County.
On February 28, ICE Agents were conducting surveillance at a parking lot beside Crossroads Market Convenience Store after several complaints about possible drug activity.
Officials say 36-year-old Andrea Laws arrived at the parking lot and handed another person, whose name has not been released, an oxycodone pill. Agents then took both into custody.
A baggie of oxycodone, "items of drug paraphernalia," and Laws' vehicle were all seized.
Laws was charged with one count felonious possession with intent to sell/deliver oxycodone, and one count felonious maintain a vehicle to keep/store a controlled substance.
She was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center and placed under a $30,000 bond.
