WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The list of potential Wilmington Housing Authority CEO's has been narrowed, according to the board Chairman.
Jeff Hovis, Chairman of the WHA, said the list of candidates has been reduced to five. These candidates must now undergo criminal, DMV, and civil background checks.
Hovis said the running of candidates is very close, with interviews of the candidates to take during the last week of March at a neutral site.
Former CEO Michael Krause was terminated from the position in September after he was charged with his second DWI.
