WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The Feast Down East is hosting the Raise The Barn event to raise money in support of local farms and fisheries.
The event is scheduled for March 22 at Poplar Grove Plantation from 6 – 10 p.m. Money raised will go towards helping Feast Down East buy a refrigerated truck to deliver fresh locally grown food to all socioeconomic communities.
Area chefs including, Keith Rhodes of Catch and James Doss of Rx and Pembroke's, will cook up a tapas-style dinner using locally grown and raised ingredients.
