A driver was arrested after a crash shut down the eastbound lanes of Moultrie Road Monday night.
Dougherty County Police say 73 year-old Tommy Mason of Baconton hit the center guard rail then crashed into the concrete railing on a bridge a little before 5:40 p.m.
His Chevy Silverado narrowly avoided going over the bridge and ended up on its side, blocking traffic.
Rescuers pulled Mason from the truck. He wasn't hurt, but police say he was driving under the influence.
They charged him with DUI.
