CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A motorcycle stolen from a disabled veteran while he was on the way to his honeymoon has been recovered.

Calvin Teeple is from Pennsylvania, but he was in Hope Mills when his 1999 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail was taken on February 19.

The bike was parked along the 2400 block of Camp Lejeune Court. Teeple and his wife were there visiting his son-in-law before heading to their honeymoon destination in Florida.

The motorcycle was found intact in a wooded area in Robeson County.

Authorities brought the bike back to Cumberland County where Teeple will pick it up.
