(RNN) - Dozens have died and more than 200 have been injured after a truce between government and opposition forces collapsed in Kiev, Ukraine this week.

Protestors are calling for the Ukrainian president's resignation.

The U.S. government is warning airlines to pay close attention to possible explosives hidden in shoes on flights coming into the U.S., based on new intelligence. The Department of Homeland Security says there's no specific threat or plot but is acting out of caution.

Facebook announced it has purchased WhatsApp in a deal worth $19 billion. WhatsApp allows users to send text messages for free over the internet.

The Kit Kat has been named the most influential candy bar of all time, according to TIME Magazine

    Brunswick Regional Water and Sewer H2GO is considering hiring an outside media consulting group to help overcome what a spokesperson characterizes as misinformation regarding the project to create a reverse osmosis water treatment plant.  The project to build the plant is expected to start later this year, with a goal of producing water in the first quarter of 2019.
