Gazelle offers consumers up to $370 for their smartphones, even when broken. The company kept track of the number of broken devices collected to compile its Klutziest Places in America list.
College towns seemed to dominate the 2013 klutziest cities list with six college communities appearing on the list.
Wilmington fell fourth on the list with 32 percent of the phones that were turned in to Gazelle being broken.
College Station, TX topped the list with 37 percent broken.
Fun fact! According to Gazelle, July is the klutziest time of the years, with broken phones representing one-third of all phones being traded in during that month.
