The First African American Baptist Church of East Savannah celebrated Black History Month in an old fashioned, traditional way this morning.
Accompianed by tons of music and singing, the church held their annual old fashioned "Praise House" worship service. Organizers wanted to use the service as a way to honor their past and traditions and also a way to look forward to the future.
Georgia State Representative, Al Williams, served as the guest speaker. The service also honored Deacon Willie Moses Roberson.
Plans for next year's service are already underway.
