Apple-Ginger Sauce

APPLE-GINGER SAUCE

BY CHEF MAJOR WHITE,

SAVANNAH'S RESTAURANT

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of diced apples
  • 2 tablespoons of freshly grated ginger root
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 can whole cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • pinch of allspice

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together, let them come to a boil; reduce heat for between 10 to 15 minutes. Spoon over the pork tenderloin.
